She padded cautiously through the desolate area. All she could see was grey. Grey sky, flat grey ground decorated with grey boulders, and every now and then a dead tree trunk. It looked like it had been ravaged by a forest fire, or else some sort of massive rampaging creature had blasted its way through the place, leaving this path of destruction everywhere it went.
Her journey had been somewhat rough, but she was coping with it well. The area she had left; green, forested and grass-carpeted slopes surrounding a placid lake, was not for her, and she had craved adventure and a new place for her to live. She had taken her leave as soon as she
